Atomic Energy Authority (AEA) Technology plc provides consultancy, technical services and products to the rail, environment and portable power markets.
The challenge
AEA asked us to help them present their business through their reporting in a way that could be understood by a broader group of stakeholders. They wanted an annual report that more effectively demonstrated the company's capacity for strategic thinking, planning and action.
The solution
We critiqued and bench-marked their previous reports against their sector and market cap peers. From this, we developed a plan to rework the content, structure and design of their 2011 annual report.
Space was allocated to the first part of the report to present a clear overview of the business and the markets in which it operates. This provided the context for the business and operational reviews that both the lay reader and seasoned analyst would find useful.
