A beautiful annual report for an iconic brand
Burberry is an iconic, luxury brand with a distinctive British sensibility and strong international differentiating brand values.
The Challenge
Burberry asked Accrue to design a new annual report to showcase the company's story with two key objectives in mind. The document needed to provide the quickest possible route to the crucial financial information. And it had to support Burberry’s worldwide reputation while telling its story in an engaging way, that radiated the brand's strength and iconic status.
The Solution
Burberry had launched lots of new products, opened many new stores and hosted numerous catwalk shows. So we presented the 'year at a glance' as a four page gatefold in the middle.
The Burberry story was beautifully packaged. We had ink specially mixed to Burberry’s brand colour. Mario Testino shot the images. We took inordinate care over the colour matching. And the notice of meeting was presented in an envelope handmade from specially imported Italian paper.
